My OS is Windows 7 Professional, SP 1. I used to have HTML-Kit on my system and had no problems using it. Then, a couple of months ago, I was forced to remove everything from my system. All my user data had to be restored from backups and the programs re-installed.
Now when I use HTML-Kit, the screen becomes corrupted whenever I switch files in the program. Before I installed Adobe Flash Player, the screen became dark and I had to click twice with the mouse button on the program icon to restore it. Now I see a previous screen image of Windows Explorer, or that in combination with the last open website. Only when I hold down the control key while switching files do I avoid the screen corruption. I've also seen the screen become corrupted at random, without my taking any action in HTML-Kit. It's rather distracting, although I've learned to cope with it.
To solve this problem I tried installing both Flash.ocx, the 32 and 64 bit versions, and in the appropriate folders, and Adobe Flash Player. Neither one worked.
Can anyone suggest a solution? I'd appreciate it.
